A Kickoff: Tiffany Blue
Tiffany Blue. I will adore almost anything in this color. It stops me in my tracks. It’s not aqua or turqoise or teal. Tiffany & Co. has trademarked the color (which is actually called Tiffany Blue, and a name I would have used for this blog, but it was already taken), and I don’t blame them, because it’s perfect. It’s the inspiration for this Tumblr, which I want to be a collection of things I love and find beautiful, even if I can’t fully explain why. This just is.
But I’m going to try to explain most things. I’m a writer, and am constantly looking for new outlets, beyond my professional job, to push my craft and passion. I figure that if I can artfully describe what makes blue or Boston or bubble tea or a passage of scripture or my best friend or my boyfriend beautiful and lovely, then my writing will grow. And that’s why I’m here. Stay tuned.
